Helen will conduct a detailed assessment of your pelvic health needs in a private setting. We understand that although these problems are common, they can be a sensitive topic to discuss. You will be treated with compassion and empathy.
If appropriate, you may be offered an internal examination of your pelvic floor muscles. This has been shown to be a reliable and effective way of assessing the pelvic floor muscles. Using the information, we will provide you with an individualised and supervised pelvic floor training programme.
Other treatment options we provide are bladder retraining, advice on bladder and bowel habits, biofeedback, manual therapy for lower back and pelvic pain, exercise advice for lower back and pelvic pain, scar management advice, pelvic floor relaxation techniques, rehabilitation back to sports and exercise.
