We're committed to helping you achieve your fitness goals in a supportive and engaging environment, and our new small group pilates sessions are designed to do just that.

Pilates is well-being movement therapy. With regular practice, Pilates will help you move through everyday life with improved strength, ease and confidence. The exercises are designed to work on the deep structure of the body, strengthening and stabilising your core. The focus is on quality of movement rather than quantity of repetitions — precision really matters. Emma, our expert Pilates instructor, will gently guide you through the exercises, correcting when needed and adapting exercises to suit your abilities.

Why Small Group Pilates?

We understand that sometimes the motivation to exercise can be hard to find on your own. That's why we've created these small group classes, where you'll benefit from the camaraderie and encouragement of your fellow participants, all while receiving personalised attention.

What to Expect:

  • Intimate class sizes for a more personalised experience.

  • Maximum 5 people per class.

  • Expert guidance from a certified Pilates instructor.

  • Varied routines to keep your workouts fresh and engaging.

  • Supportive environment to help you reach your fitness goals.

  • Postural assessment and Vald ForceDecks testing to set your goals.

Core Strength & Stability:

  • One of the key benefits of Pilates is its focus on core strength. The exercises target the deep abdominal muscles, lower back, hips, and pelvis, helping to improve posture, balance, and stability. A strong core not only enhances athletic performance.

Improved Flexibility & Mobility:

  • Pilates promotes flexibility by lengthening and strengthening muscles, helping to increase the range of motion in joints. Unlike high-impact workouts that may cause stiffness or muscle tightness, Pilates encourages fluid, controlled movements that support long-term joint health and prevent injuries.

Posture & Alignment:

  • Poor posture is a common issue, especially for those who sit for long periods or have physically demanding jobs. Pilates helps correct imbalances in the body by strengthening weaker muscles and improving spinal alignment. This can lead to better posture, reduced strain on the neck and shoulders, and a lower chance of developing chronic pain conditions.

Mind-body connection & Stress Relief:

  • Pilates is not just a physical workout—it also emphasises mindfulness and controlled breathing. The focus on movement precision and breath control helps improve concentration, reduce stress, and enhance mental well-being. Many people find that Pilates leaves them feeling more relaxed, energised, and focused, making it a great way to manage daily stress.

Who can benefit from Pilates:

  • Pilates is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. Whether you want to improve your core strength, recover from an injury, enhance athletic performance, or simply move and feel better in your daily life, Pilates offers a safe and effective way to achieve your fitness goals.
